After finally getting on speaking terms with my oldest sister again after about a year of no contact at all, she blocked me on social media today over an argument about voting. She texted me today to complain about her measly tax return and I reminded her that I told her a million times I didn't want to hear her complain about anything remotely political because she doesn't vote. She's actually proud of it too, which is dumb as fuck. It got me so irritated that I made a vent post on social media about how I don't like hearing people complain when they don't vote (or if they don't vote, don't do anything at all, like protest, etc.) and she flipped out at me and blocked me. Imagine being so dumb that you're actually proud of not doing the bare minimum as a citizen to participate in a democracy and then complaining about things that affect you politically.
