Radiant Dawn

This is sort of a two-part question.

First question: Do you lose out on droppable items if a yellow unit gets a kill on that enemy? I ask because there’s an Energy Drop in Part 2 Endgame, and for some reason, I don’t explicitly remember getting it. I know it’s dropped by an Armor Axe unit who moves towards your squad early on in the map.

Considering the enemy’s location (right side), there are several candidates for who could’ve received the Energy Drop. My first thought was Mordecai, Lethe, or Nephenee, but none of them had it later on when they joined the Greil Mercenaries. Another thought was Haar, but when I checked his inventory in Part 3, he didn’t have it either.

Since this was relatively early in the map, I’m sure I kept my yellow units far away from the action. That leaves several other possibilities: Perhaps my flying units (Marcia, Elincia, or Nealuchi) or Calill have it (as none of them had full inventories), or it somehow got in my convoy for that map.

When I was playing with Haar, I know I exhausted a javelin and possibly a hand axe over the course of the map, and he did have room for the Nullify scroll towards the end of the map when I killed that enemy. My hope is that the Energy Drop got in the convoy early on while his inventory was still full (because I know it was full at the start). My fear is that I accidentally let a yellow unit snag a kill on that enemy, thus missing out on the item.

Here’s the second question: If you do send an item to the convoy during Part 2 Endgame’s map, when will you get access to that item again? I know there’s a chapter with the Royal Knights in Part 3 without Elincia, but will it show up there? Or is the convoy during “Elincia’s Gambit” affiliated with Elincia specifically?
