About DShift
As: How skill dependent is it? How highroll dependent is it?
Against: If I have a 1pp 1/2 in hand, it is a simple decision to play it and win from there by tempoing out the DShift because they have no way of killing it on T1. If I have a 1pp 1/1, I should play it as well because they can't kill it if their 1pp spell is Insight, and if it is Angelic Snipe it would have been played anyway on face. But the problem comes if I either had no 1-drop or it was killed by Angelic Snipe. Do I play my 2-drop and risk having it bounced by Kaliedoscopic Glow? Or do I withhold my followers until I can play multiple followers in one turn, at which point they can use their follower-independent spells like Sorcery Cache, Magic Missile or the above 1pp spells? But no matter how I see it, by the time I can drop multiple followers, they have so many spells in hand that are so heavily spellboosted that they can throw massive Windblasts and free Fiery Embraces and clear my board anyway, even without AoEs.
