‘Generation Greta’: Angry youths put heat on climate talks. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of mostly young people are expected to rally in cities around the world Friday to demand that governments step up their efforts to curb climate change.

There's plenty of proof - a veritable mountain of it that points towards increasingly terrible outcomes without changes in behaviour. So much that your only response would be to ignore it and slink away.

Because the sort of proof you're after is essentially on the level of omniscience in the future (i.e. you can see everything and understand why things have turned out the way they are). It's not something that anyone can give you - so perhaps its better that you consider the world less as absolutes and more as probabilities.

What is the probability of terrible outcomes if we continue to degrade the environment upon which our livelihood and productivity matters?
