'Genius' director Ron Howard reveals why he's on a mission to turn scientists into celebrities - "it's also about promoting science and, by extension, the future of America."

There is a new very erosive way of thought that climate change denials have adopted though. Now, the science supporting the fact that the planet is heating up are indisputable; the new claim is that this is a natural cycle that we cannot do anything about, nor are we making it worse. It was gonna happen anyway.

I have seen this time and again from people all over the internet that were probably climate change deniers at one point. The mental gymnastics that are done by these people to avoid arriving at the conclusion that the rate of which our planet is heating is directly correlated with human consumption of fossil fuels is astounding.

So if people that were convinced by some talking head on the news that the Milankovitch cycles are all that is to blame, and climate change is alarmist propaganda, of course watching yet another """"liberal scientist"""" reinforce the fact of greenhouse gasses, will look like a load of bull shit.

Nevermind the fact that Milankovitch himself acknowledged that the earth is affected by geology. Additionally, Milankovitch cycles do not even rule out the concept of the greenhouse effect. The two can be mutually exclusive. People just hear some idea that sounds complex but they half understand and start spouting it off to their friends. What companies are throwing money at this intentionally misleading disinformation, I wonder?
