Genuinely concerned

I wasn't at all intending to sound or be aggressive. I'm unsure what in my post made you perceive it as such, but I'm not at all looking for a fight or whatever. I also just tried to explain my view.

Regarding the accent, I don't see why is that an issue, even if her accent was stereotypical. It's just an accent, no? Some stereotypes are harmless. And good for you if you have a near British accent, I wish I did too, but too scared to even try lol. It's very hard to get it right, at least for me.

Unintentional racism and microagrression are very problematic concepts that downplay the severity and gravity of intentional racism and actual aggression. In fact, those terms are oxymorons. For example, there's no such thing as unintentional racism. There's behavior or belief that comes from a place of ignorance, and then there's hatred of people of color who are seen as inferior. It's a pretty critical difference that must never be erased. Otherwise you have people like Nin being accussed of racism and therefore placed in the same basket with genuine racists. You might say that's not true but as you can see, so many people are calling her racist in a very aggressive manner, bullying and harassing her as if she was one, and no "unintentional racism" helps them see how wrong they are acting that way.
