I was just trying to say:

1) God comes first. Dump any idol (relationship) that gets in the way.

2) God comes first. Dump any idol (religious tradition) that gets in the way.

What I did not do was pay attention to the thread that I was on. I never remember marking r/Catholicism as a thread to follow, but I do remember having Substitutionary Atonement questions a while back. I’ll be sure to correct that and remover this thread from my follows as diverse opinions from seekers is clearly not welcome. It dawns on me that my reply was more reformed than I intended it to be.
