At this point, I wish that he would just be honest about what's going on.

Does he have serious writer's block? I feel like most people would understand if he just straight up said, "I have no idea how to get from point A to point B, and until I figure that out, we're at a standstill."

Did he let the fame go to his head? Is he upset at the series because the show was more popular than his books ever were? Is he afraid that his ending won't be good enough, because his ending was what they put on television, just worse (or even if it's the same thing)?

Just... be honest with where the status is. He's achieved the writer's dream... the whole world wants to know what happens next, and instead of doing literally anything, he's just sitting back and soaking it up. The problem is that, unless he gives the world something soon, it'll just forget about him.
