She's such an idiot. Like there is no place where she is right here. Not with the law or the bible. She doesn't follow the law, and she doesn't even follow her own religion.
Roman's 13: 1-7 - Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
The only time you should ever disobey the law, is if God himself talks to you and tells you to, for example here:
Acts 5:27-29 - And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intent to bring this man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.
And out of everyone in this fucking world (if God even existed) I doubt the one person he would reach out to is Kim Davis, to make other peoples lives miserable.
And even after all of that. If you disobey the government even after God himself comes down and speaks to you, you are still supposed to accept the governments punishment for doing so, and then be happy about your punishment, because you are being dishonored for God's name.

Which Kim Davis didn't do. Her and her lawyers pushed and are still pushing to keep her out of trouble, and saying that it is horrible that she was jailed. She should be happy, if she truly believes that is what God wants. She isn't. This whole thing is her disobeying the law and her own beliefs in God, and thinking she is higher then both.
Not to mention the fact that she is disrespecting, and hurting others by saying "gays shouldn't get married, I won't allow it". Even if the bible says that being gay isn't right or okay, it still says this..
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Which means even if God did say being gay is wrong, you should still love and respect them. You should love and respect everyone. It is more important then any passage in the entire bible. Every time you hurt anyone in anyway, you are hurting God "God is in everyone."
Matthew 7:1-5 - 7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
She's judging gay people, but herself has sinned (getting divorced 3-4 times) Also she shouldn't be judging people, only God can judge anyone.
I mean I can keep going. It's clear that she hasn't properly read the Bible at all. Which if her religion was actually important to her, she would have, over and over.. because God is all that matters right? It's also clear, that her and all of her followers, just pick and choose what to listen to, and what to push to the side, to help their own selfish wants and desires.
I don't believe in anything, but if you do believe in something, at least do your fucking research so you know wtf you are following, and not following, so you properly live by the bullshit.
