Georgia city: No Confederate battle flag in veterans parade

I agree to some extent. Some people would argue that confederate veterans are in fact veterans of the United States. Especially since the US treated them that way after the war. I just think that people view this so harshly that they don’t care for the history and would prefer to boil the argument down to “they are no different than Nazis” kinda stuff when really it was worlds apart.

I mean even the leader of the confederacy wrestled with his decision to do what he thought was right. Slaves were the catalyst no doubt. The reasons for fighting were varied and multitude.
