Georgia Culture

I’m not as worldly as some responses but I’ve lived in Middle Georgia most of my life. Visited Atlanta a lot. I think most of the culture is pretty similar to most in the south. With the civil rights movements and Native Americans. We have our cities and rural areas. Race seems to be a big issue when it comes to southern states so I’ll say something about it. I always went to a school where it was basically 50/40/10. White/Black/ Hispanic (I know this sounds dumb but when I spoke to people not from the south they didn’t understand)

I lived in Utah for almost a year when I was in Highschool I only met four black people. 4! It was culture shock. I’m white but I looked around and I only saw white people? It was so strange. I think the south gets shit on sometimes for being the most prejudice. I know this state can be racist as hell but being in a state(like Utah)that doesn’t interact with or hasn’t even met a black person let alone grown up with them. I saw way more racism in the Midwest than ever.
