Georgia Republican lieutenant governor deems Herschel Walker 'one of the worst' candidates in GOP history

The Senate President of NC, who was first elected in 2000, but didn’t become Senate leader until 2011, always makes the case for Republican leadership in NC. Navigated the Great Recession and kept budgets in control. Lowered taxes and created a policy environment for job growth in NC. Created opportunity for school choice. And the results - the fastest growing metro in the US. 85% funded pension. Highest number of AAA bond-rated municipalities in America. Low unemployment. Growing median income. Lower personal tax burden. Massive job growth. Apple HQ2.

Can’t argue with these results. Most Republicans in NC know how to do three things really well - cut taxes, moderate spending, and create economic growth. The only time they ever get into trouble is when they mess around with some culture war sideshow.

Georgia is an economic powerhouse. For as much as everyone is Florida, Florida, Florida, the real story of growth in the US runs along I-85 from Atlanta to Durham, I-95 from Fairfax to Richmond, and I-40 from Nashville to Raleigh. Are you telling me that some Republican in Georgia can’t stand up and tell that story and ride it to the US Senate?
