German Jewish Leaders: We No Longer Feel Safe Here

I will never ever ever understand why there is this TREND in certain parts of the world that immigration should be pretty much accepted unilaterally everywhere AT ALL TIMES. Why is this? I'm not asking for why it is the way it is, but why must this standard feel to be imposed elsewhere?

It makes sense in countries like the US or Australia or Canada (and others) why immigration is a controversy, because these countries are founded on immigration, so change in immigration based on certain not wanting certain groups can come across as xenophobic, narrow minded and basically not promoting good precedence.

Yet there are countries like Japan, which while facing demographic trouble (perhaps their immigration policy is too strict) they are one of the safest crime free countries in the world, even if you consider account for margin of error based on under-reporting.

And if that doesn't convince you, remember that Japan has less than 25% of Australia's crime rate, even though it has more than 5 times the population, with Japan's population concentrated in major tight and expensive areas.

Oh, and the richest man by a long shot in Japan is a known, ethnic Korean (Masatoshi Son) Wada Aiko is also an ethnic Korean and one of the most famous Japanese television celebrities. Nobody simply cares that she's Korean.

Of course the reason why I'm mentioning this isn't that Australia sucks, or that Japan is amazing, or that all immigrants SUCK. (I'm looking at you, Mr. Extreme Put-Words-in-Mouthenstein, hyperbolese hillbilly, exaggeration generation)

But rather, WHY oh WHY does the entire world have to try to paint this picture of:

Accepting immigration = Always progress, moral center Denying immigration = Always pieces of shit, every single government and country that decides this is xenophobic, hateful of others, probably racist, anti-religion, and out to hurt people. If they could get away with it, they will rape people too (Ok, I'm just joking and am not related to a hyperboles hillbilly)

I just think that theres nothing wrong with being sensible to immigration, which means letting people in a more controlled sensible fashion than having them show up and just not caring afterwards
