How are these people caught? I only have a vague idea from watching criminal minds/SVU. A friend(no longer) is being charged with child pornogrophy possession and distribution. He had told me he was arrested at work, put on leave, and that his phone was taken. At the time I gave him the benefit of the doubt. There was a small part of me that knew that charge was a possibility since they took his phone but didn't want to think it was it.

Come 3 months later and I tried to Google his name and the case popped up(yesterday). One of the sub charges was possession of over 600 images and or a minor under 12. Pretty fucked up charges. He wasn't a good friend by any means, but he is the cousin of my cousin.

I can't be friends with someone I find morally objectionable.
