Germany’s Merkel Dashes Ukraine’s EU Membership Hopes: Visa waivers also not expected to be introduced at the coming Riga summit

Here we go again. Lets just clear up a few bits and bobs that we have conceptual differences at. I said everything about Crimea - due to the history of the peninsula itself, the way it was orchestrated, the will of the people there, although technically not right on paper, ended up better for Crimean who for me matter more than a piece of paper saying that the territory, that was just gifted to someone at some point, belongs to a country that has existed for 25 year that neglected it anyway. A bit like taking a dog back from a dysfunctional family (not physically harming the family in the process) who can't take care of it, and the dog wants to be with the previous owner anyway. If you're the kind of a person who stands at a traffic light in the middle of a desert with no traffic, waiting for a green light just because the rules state you have to, I don't, and prefer common sense. Not a personal attack, just the way I feel, the Kremlin has nothing to do with it.

If i were to release myself from the Kremlin narrative I would like to first know what the Kremlin narrative is, then I would have to think that the narrative is flawed. I agree with some things the Kremlin says and does, and with others I disagree, actually with quite a lot of it, especially in the internal affairs of my country of birth. Despite popular belief not every person who doesn't take the Ukrainian side, is a paid Kremlin troll brainwashed by state propaganda. Personally I haven't watched a Russian channel in over 15 years as I don't live there and don't own a TV anyway. Now to the actual points you raised. When did all of this start, after a bloody revolution that turned Kiev into a battlefield and tore the country apart because some people especially in the East did not support the revolution. They were unhappy with the current corrupt government but they didn't support the lunatic methods of the angry mob with nazi symbols to change things. Established. You can say all day long I'm sucking up to Kremlin propaganda but I had friends at Maidan who described it with one word - "war". Before any Russians came and started deliberately killing Ukrainians for no apparent reason, taking into account that Russians basically considered Ukrainians their brother nation. Anyway the cognitive dissonance is non existant in my head, its all to clear to have any doubt. And my "crusade to spread the Kremlin narrative" is just my opinion that will eventually prevail, as people will have no choice but to accept it, it has already started happening, the western media has to fight hard trying to hide all the shit that's happening in Ukraine caused by the government and maidan supporters. And it will prevail not because the propaganda is strong but because they'll get tired of playing games and its impossible to keep up a false campaign running, a campaign designed to persuade everyone that the people who started all this were not driven by the prospects of personal gain but some imaginary values and promises of riches and good life at no cost. Please read Orwell's "Animal Farm" he was a genius after all, and described the Maidan very clearly.
