Getting a job in F1 / with one of the teams

Thanks for this, I’ve definitely realised how naive I’ve been applying with optimism and hope, but I now better understand that I need to get some more specific relevant experience under my belt, maybe even an internship too.

I think you may have misunderstood my OP— I’m aware that potential travel in F1 jobs would barely involve any time to enjoy the races and events that come with it and that’s not why I want to work in F1, although the concept of being able to travel even occasionally for a role is something that appeals to me, it’s more working in travel/events/logistics and projects involve something new each week and you aren’t stagnant and on autopilot with the same repetitiveness like I am now. It’s the being kept on my toes, working under pressure and creatively utilising organisational skills that really appeals to me, but in an industry like F1 that I actually have a genuine interest in and love for, I imagine I’d start actually liking what I’d do as a job.
