getting a job with usps as a college student

Won’t happen if you are in college. If you are really that interested, wait until you graduate and give it a try. If you’re going to school though, why even bother? You’d be paying for a college education that you won’t even use. Joining USPS is a career move, and by the time you graduate and start paying back student loans you will want to kick yourself for going to college. I have 30k in student loans left, don’t use my degree at all, and it was a giant waste of time and money for me. Just saying if you’re paying to go to school, find a job in the degree you are going for. Even look for an internship in your field if you can, even if it’s unpaid at least you will get experience. Don’t be a dumbass mail carrier like me, make wise decisions. Sit in an air conditioned office where it is dry and cool, staring at a computer screen for 8 hours a day.
