Well damn.

Yh she is going to be a stay at home wife and mom. And i will be the sole earner. I never was a fan of the divorce laws here. So if we get divorced in the uk and she was a stay at home wife/mother. Then I would have to pay spousal maintenence? Wow.

All of these rules totally go against my religon but these are the laws of the land I'm living now so I cant do nothing about it. What if we get divorced in a muslim country? Will our divorce be governed by the UK or by the land we live in?

Note , we are not getting married in the uk rather we are marrying abroad which is also recognised in the uk. I will not be buying a home in the uk. And will only have assets outside Europe in my original country. I was born and raised in the uk but I deffo need to be careful.

Here's hoping a divorce never occurs.
