Getting sick in your 20’s

Just got Dxd at 24 with hEDS this year as well.

It all went downhill around 18 and I had headache and hormone issues. Lots of mood issues in my late teens with worsening headaches, looking back it was probably the first signs of autoimmune, but when a girl says “I feel like I want to crawl out of my own skin” everyone assumes it’s a psych case. Even me, had no idea why I felt so sick at that time of the month. Also had mild issues like tennis elbow and a similar sensation with my knees, but I was a bigger girl and it was always assumed to be that. GI issues hit me at 22, quickly snowballed in severity and then once the weight loss from GI got too far the joint pain got really noticeable. The GI issues being resolved and diagnosed as gastroparesis is what led to my diagnosis. It’s been downhill since I was 17 I’d say.
