GF (24) ended the relationship with me (28) because she no longer knows who she is. Has anyone every been on either side of this before? Could really use some advice in how to support her.

I'm so so happy to hear that! It was very much like how me and my SO reacted (me breaking down and wanting to work through it together, and him breaking down because he doesn't want to lose me), it ended up being that we took a break rather than breaking up. It's really hard in this situation when you know something has to change but you're both very much in love with each other. But gosh, I felt so relieved after he told me he wanted so much to work through this.

What we ended up doing is that, while we'll still have time apart, that we dedicate one day a week to just catch up and spend time together. Though, having time apart for us is easier as we don't live together + have different class schedules, and every couple functions differently. I'm sure you both will find a routine that can work in the meantime!

Therapy really helped me out a lot, and I hope your experience is good as well!
