I used to shave everything - legs, vulva, butt, armpits, arms. I’d shave the teeny bit of hair around my belly button. But I have the most sensitive, and even when I’d use a brand new razor, even the kinds with the lotion strips, I would get razor bumps EVERYWHERE. It always itched so bad, and it would just look absolutely horrible. Like, what’s worse looking - a hairy vag that’s trimmed or one covered in dozens of ingrown hairs and red bumps?

My partner now prefers that I don’t shave. I am honestly a thousand times more comfortable now. I still shave my legs and armpits every so often, but he rarely notices the hair there anyways. He doesn’t shave anywhere either. As long as you’re maintaining your hygiene, it’s not gross at all.
