Which side of the fence are you saying that from?

If you're talking about scammers and RMTers receiving no mercy, then that's great! The only reason to say it's not great is if you are one, in which case you get what you deserve.

If you're talking about them not catching enough RMTers/scammers, or seeming like they're not doing anything to them after they're reported; you have to think about it from their perspective. Someone says 'that guy's RMTing!' but where's the proof? They don't have access to account details on RMT sites or anything like that. Someone on d2jsp may have the same account name on PoE, but that's not definitive either. If they banned all the accounts that have the same name as an account on d2jsp there would be a lot of mad, innocent people.

And if they arbitrarily locked any account that was accused of scamming or RMTing, a lot of those accounts would be innocent too because someone got a bad deal in a trade (their own fault) and reported the trader as a scammer when actually they're just a flipper. And then there would be a lynch mob of angry traders who got locked for being a dick and making a good trade, which is not against the Terms of Service.

You may say that "well, I would never accuse someone of doing that stuff unless I knew". Good fucking job. That doesn't mean no one else would do that. And how exaclty would you know in the first place, 100%, without a doubt, state your life on the fact, that that person is breaking the rules? Because when that person gets locked and emails GGG, they better be damn fucking sure that person was breaking those rules because otherwise that person may cause a ruckus somewhere. It's not like GGG is a huge multi-billion dollar company that can shrug those accusations off.
