For living in Nepal
*bargain as much as you can in almost all stores *avoid eating street food (some of them are good but hard to find) *showing id card at bus will provide you discount(it must be from school/clz/uni of nepal) *don't say i just came from foreign(people will likely increase the price of good, after hearing that,,,so pretend as local or people living here since long time) *tempo is usually fast but will cost more than bus *get a sim card extremely helpful to communicate as free wifi is not available ecerywhere(my friends say SMART SIM is helpful for data packs, though i have not used it before)
About gift: I am a person who has never received any and also never given any so refer to other comments
