Four years ago, the Republicans took over, in theory, the entire government. We proceeded to lower corporate tax rates, eliminate redundant or destructive regulations and watched corporate America have one of the best economic eras for generations. What did Republicans get in return for doing this? Those same corporations funded the Left and helped implement Leftist ideology throughout our society. Republicans got nothing. Republicans didn't even ask for anything. The Left understands power and how to accumulate it while Republicans want to be liked by everyone. Our goal always seems to be to win the political version of the "Miss Congeniality" award.
