That girl that yelled at General Conference

I’m 100% behind the cause, but I’m not so sure I agree with the strategy here. I’ve actually never understood vocal opposition during conference.

Best case scenario you only manage to piss people off for interrupting something that is sacred to them.

Let me reiterate, I’m for the cause. I actually have a testimonial up on the protect the children website.

I was watching with a good number of family members who had actually never heard of the movement prior to your shouting out. They immediately dismissed it as ex-mormon protest because of the manner in which you chose to do it.

My question is this, with the amount of media attention the church is receiving with both this and the Joseph Bishop case, why feel the need to resort to something that usually tends to just make members angry? Why not continue on with the approach that seems to be gaining ground? (Media Attentjon, sharing the petition, etc). Sincere question, not an attempt to belittle or degrade what you were trying to do.
