One is a very casual, inconsequential slip-up one makes between two things that sit in similar containers and after 2 seconds of testing something.

The other slip-up, your situation, comes after years of ruminating and in a very intense moment that is reaching into the deepest parts of her brain.

I do agree with /u/clitorally-minded though, OP, on this: ultimately, the reality you walk away from this situation believing is entirely under your control. You can listen to those saying it was a casual slip up, you can listen to those saying there's something bigger, but I highly doubt that at least a tiny modicum of doubt will ever completely leave your mind. How much you choose to let it grow is up to you, and you need to decide if you can live with it at all.
