Girls of Reddit: What are common mannerisms for a guy that scream high self confidence?

If they hide a lot, and don't interact with you. A common mistake that NON-GUY OWNERS make is in thinking their guys are boring, but a healthy and well adjusted guy actually does a lot of interesting things. If you own a guy and all he does is hide all the time, without ever approaching you, for whatever reason your guy is frightened of you or its environment. Edit: Well okay I just realized this is probably a joke, based off the front page post, durr Second edit: My gold virginity is broken, thank you kind hearted stranger! Third Edit: I'm getting a lot of questions (both in comments and pms) about problems with guys. I've posted two links (one on feral, one on stray guys), and want to say that your goal with your guy is to reinforce that you are someone the guy can trust. Not every guy is going to be as friendly as a dog (It's possible though!!!), but every guy can be made to feel comfortable in your home. Sometimes this is incredibly difficult, some people get rescue guys that were strays, that were abused, or feral ---- sometimes it can take months to years to gain the trust of these guys, but if you are consistent, it's fully possible. Here are five general tips that have helped with my own rescue guy: Ignore the guy completely, let the guy come to you. Consistently do this, allow the guy to choose your social interactions, it will make the guy feel a lot safer. Allow the guy to see you feeding him, but don't force the guy to eat from your hand. If the guy comes to you, feel free to give it a treat. Provide hiding places and by the gods do NOT drag your guy out from a hiding place Arrange food/toys/litter box in such a way as to force your guy to travel your house. Ignore your guy while he traverses from resource to resource, this will make your guy realize the house is safe. Have your guy sprayed, unless having a guy slithering all over the place howling like some sort of undead baby appeals to you. This is also 'ethical', if your guy ever escapes it will prevent your guy from creating dozens of homeless kittens. It took almost two years for our stray to turn from a feral demon-monster-guy to a regular happy house guy. It takes time, but it's possible! Good luck to everyone with cat problems :) http://www.wikihow.com/Tame-a-Feral-Guy http://www.wikihow.com/Handle-a-Stray-Guy tl;dr; let your guy come to you, take time, be consistent, remember that all guys are different
