Current situation I'm in: I reconnect with a girl I've known for over 10 years at a local festival here in town. We begin talking everyday, she lives 2 hours away but comes here often to see her mom and dad.

She tells me she's coming in town and says we should go get drinks. 1st date. She takes pictures of us, posts them on her fb and ig, messages her best friend to tell her were out (I grew up with her).

She tells me she's coming in again and I say I'll cook us dinner she comes over, we have dinner, meets my mom, plays with the dog, light kiss and she leaves.

Messages me and says she has nba tickets where she lives and wants me to come. Drive up there, pregame at a bar. Go to game, touchy Feely, teasing and whatnot, again more pictures for social media. Introduces me to her brother. Walk to parking garage. Linger kiss, puts her body on mine hard.

Communications dropped off massively after that. Went from hours on end to small chit chat here and there. Saw her again when she came to a Christmas party thrown by mutual friends with me. Just like the NBA game only even more playful, teasing, touching, etc... Take her back to her car and we kiss several times. After that back to communication drought.

We talked shortly about dating and she said since she doesn't know what she's doing with her career she "can't seriously date" also, I'm in the process of buying my first home so I'm staying at my mother's and she stays with her aunt or mom when she's in town, so we don't have a place to escalate, if that's what she is wanting (one of my guesses) I move into my house next weekend and she has a 2nd interview here in town for a job she really wants, so we'll see how it goes.
