*I really like the Survival Horror genre but i got a late start in it so i missed some of the staples of the genre and i missed most of the classics. I played RE4 on both PS2 and GameCube and i played the REmake on GCN but never got to finish it and i'd really like to. As a horror game it appealed to me more than RE4 but it wasn't my console we were playing them at so i didn't always get to chose. Recently i wrote an overly long request for this game over at r/randomkindness but unfortunatelly it didn't get filled. I like the genre, my favorite games in survival horror genre are probably Fatal Frame 2 and Silent Hill 2 and from the newer titles i have fond memories of Dead Space 2. I liked the GameCube version of the game back in the day but never got to finish it and i'd like a chance to do that now. I can't get it for myself because i've been unemployed since September and i still haven't found a new job.
*The Hungry Bats
A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep. Pretty soon all the other bats smelt the blood and began hassling him about where he got it.
He told them to go way ! And let him get some sleep, but they persisted until he finally gave in. "OK, follow me," he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him.
Down through a valley they went, across a river and into a forest of trees. Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him.
"Now, do you see that tree over there?" he asked. "Yes, Yes, Yes!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy. "Good!" said the first bat, "Because I didn't!"
