Why do i want GTA V? Well the real question is who wouldn't want GTA V, this game literally has everything. Thousands of hours of gamplay, a gorgeous and extensive open-world, amazing and interesting characters, moral lessons, an amazing soundtrack and a mindblowing online mode.
To be honest, the only other GTA game that i've played is GTA:San Andres and San Andres happens to be my favorite game of all time. While San Andres had a pretty revolutionary open world, my favorite aspect of it had to be the story line. The struggles and challenges CJ faces just stuck with me even after the game ended. San Andres truly had so much to do. The entire story line probably took me around 40 or 50 hours my first time around. That added with all of the optional missions and things to do, this game seriously has hundreds and hundreds of hours of gameplay.
To me, GTA V seems like an overall improvement on San Andres, my all time favorite game. GTA V is actually also set in the same area as San Andres, which is Los Santos, and the graphics look hugely improved upon. Not only that, but with the addition of the first person point of view and a complete overhual on the interaction with the world around you, GTA V is most likely the best game thats come out in the past 10 years. Seriously, the first time i played GTA V was at a Best Buy and it completely blew me away. Everything just felt so natural and realistic, especially the first person point of view, it was like i wasn't even in a game anymore. And not to mention this game is so chalkful of content. There will always be something to do, regardless of how many hours you've put into the game.
And don't even get me started about the online gameplay. I never thought it would be possible to add an online mode to a GTA game. I saw the Online in GTA IV and honestly, it looked like shit. But GTA V's online, it looks freaking spectacular. Its what i've always wanted, to completely share an open world with friends.
TL:DR - GTA V takes gaming to a whole new level. From the gorgeous and extensive open world to the humorous yet moral teaching storyline, GTA V is a game that i've been looking forward to on PC for the past year and a half.
If i had the cash, i would buy GTA V in a heartbeat. The game is seriously worth the full $60. Usually, i'll wait till a game is dirt cheap under $10 before i buy it but i would not at all hesitate to buy GTA V if i had the money. However, cost of grad school added in with the cost of dorming and overall daily expenses, i honestly don't have enough to even spend $60. $60 is probably 3-4 weeks worth of food for me, its alot! And i seriously cannot justify playing a video game over eating. It would be absolutely amazing if i won this game, i've been looking forward to it coming out on PC for so long and would love to own it on steam.
