I have given up actively hoping for a better world. I don’t believe/care for it any more.

I thought the same way for a long time.

But then I decided to be the part in the better world I wanted.

I signed up to become part of a volunteer group to plant trees. I mean, at that time, it meant nothing to me except a shallow attempt for ME to do SOMETHING to reduce my carbon footprint... I met a whole new group of people, made friends with a few of them and then suddenly I became involved. Got new friends, liked who they were and slowly learned to change my own habits far beyond recycling.

If you surround yourself with like minded individuals, it becomes your life.

Stop looking for the good you crave, go and be the good you crave, surround yourself with like minded people. Stop waiting for it to come to your doorstep and then complain it doesn't happen. To and find the life you want. Join the like minded communities you so crave to be attached to.

You can't expect those good things to land on your doorstep if you're not actually seeking out what you want. And if you've been seeking out what you want and it hasn't happened yet, I'd say you haven't tried hard enough.

Your ideal life, isn't gonna land on your doorstep without effort. Stop blaming other's for what you don't have, get off your arse and go get it.
