I have been playing wow on and off for 9 years, started playing in high school and i haven't played on the same account during those nine years.

When i first heard about legion, i just shrugged it off. I'm 25 now and i am at the tail-end of a job and i guess i just thought i had more important stuff to deal with it, college starting was just around the corner and since most of my friends have moved on from playing games i decided to pass on the august release date.

First week of September passes and my room mate just got home from bestbuy, he sat me down in my gaming chair, slammed down a couple of month's of game time and 3 blizzard gift cards and said "we're doing this". I admit i got some butterflies in my stomach, the main reason why my relationship with wow has been "on and off" is because none of my friends ever stay around long enough during each expansion.

So it's been about a month, we leveled a toon from 1-110 together. We've played for about 125 hours a piece in the span of a week i'd wager. It's been the most fun i've had playing an mmo in a long time. I hope it lasts, we just started doing mythic dungeons with a friendly guild a couple of days ago and sharing this experience with other people has been a blast.

It's nice to come back to a game and have a lot of fun with something that was a huge part of my life for the longest time.
