Giving Lush one more chance to clear up my acne. Recommendations, please!

My pretty bad acne was greatly improved by using Coalface every morning and a generous coating of Full of Grace every night. Although it seemed to help I've now put Coalface to one side because in 3 months it took me from being a total oil slick to being so dry my skin was flaking, so I've switched to Movis. I can't say for sure how well that's working because it hasn't been very long but it's more moisturising, has vitamins that are meant to be good for scarring and has VERY gentle exfoliation - it's like small grains of... wheat? No scratchy at all, just textured. Might be worth a try although I imagine Coalface would be too drying and scratchy for you - maybe just on occasion?

Full of Grace is the product I would sacrifice all other products for. It's a very soft, soothing moisturising serum (I find a lot of moisturisers I've tried before make my skin feel like it's stinging) that has done really good things for my redness/scarring, just generally improving the texture of my face as a whole. Definitely try this, especially once you get a handle on the acne and want to focus on reversing the damage it did!

The other thing I've used which is kind of cheating I guess is Duac gel, which is a prescription antibiotic gel for acne. There was a noticeable improvement between using that gel last year and using it alongside those products this year, but obviously that's still a big step in my acne fighting routine. I don't know if you've looked into going down the medical route, but that might be worth considering as well. It took me a long time to bring myself to see a doctor about it and had put together a bunch of photos from the past year showing various bouts of acne since I was worried they'd just brush it off because it wasn't THAT bad on the day I went, but I literally sat down and said "I'm 22 and my skin is terrible" and got a prescription. Just something else to think about... soap is one thing and I give Lush some credit, but that was a big step in dealing with my acne issues for me. Good luck, I know it's tough!
