Giving out two Good Life loyalty codes

Last year was the first forest for myself, my boyfriend, and our best friend. Unfortunately since my boyfriend and I were a little strapped for cash (we're students), our awesomely generous best friend bought all of the tickets for us. But that means that now when we can actually afford to buy tickets, we only have one loyalty code between the three of us :( We're kind of dorky and call ourselves the BAM squad, BAM incorporating the first letter of each of our names. So not going together isn't an option. We already came up for the theme for our flag and gear this year...BAMTASIA, since we all love Fantasia and the forest is such a magical place.

It's hard to put into words what the forest means to us, but I'll try to do my best. We seem like pretty straight laced people to those around us, but for the year leading up to our first EF, there was something missing. We were floundering around, struggling with self identity vs perceived identity, trying to find that missing piece of the puzzle. We decided to go to EF, our first music festival, on a whim. And boy am I glad we did. To quote my friend, "the forest is a place of true freedom of expression". For the first times in our lives we felt free of judgement. Free of societal constraints. Free for the first time in our lives to truly be ourselves. We were home. And there is something so very special about experiencing that, because after you have, it translates into every other facet of your life. It changes you. Basically once you start waving your freak flag, you can't stop.

I have so many amazing memories of EF. I was in a bad place one night and this girl just comes up to me and gives me a hug. She didn't know anything about me or my situation, but she just gives me a hug and a simple "I love you. Everything is going to be okay". This is just how the EF community is. Everyone is family, and that is just such a beautiful thing. Of course I have a million other fond memories, but I think that one encapsulates the spirit of the forest the most. Because while the music and visuals are awe inspiring, it is the community that really makes EF special.
