GL - Arena Orbs Issue Resolved+Compensation

You guys are failing to analyse this from GUMI's perspective. They are at fault for the issue itself, but they can't execute most of the compensations you guys are suggesting. Here are some examples:
 
Reset Monthly Ladder: Not feasible because some people actually pay to refresh orbs and be ahead. Resetting the ladder would, literally, be stealing from them.
Selective Rollback: Selective Rollback is a very costy operation for all kinds of business. You have to perform a very fast data analysis, filter out all data that's not meant to be rolled back, schedule an outage to safely perform the rollback of what is meant to be and prioritize the customer support of everyone that, allegedly, was financially impacted by this (i.e. people claiming that purchased lapis just to have a good start, people falsely claiming that their [insert currency] was lost after rollback).
Full Rollback: Same as above. Easier to perform, but incurs a lot of customer support afterwards. Lots of frustration for the players as well, due to progress lost (too bad you got your long waited base 5* during the rolled back period right?).
Penalty those who abused the issue: Unfortunately, you don't have any means to filter those who abused the issue for their own benefit and those who abused the issue under the "fair play" rule. You can't blame those who were "forced" to abuse it just to keep their ladder position (or even worse, recover a little).
 
All this being said, I do agree that Refreshing 5 orbs for everyone is not proper compensation. I, for instance, would go for a 1 top monthly arena reward for everyone.
 
Issues this big are always hard to deal with. Unfortunately, these things do happen, please try to be understanding in your frustration, as hard as it might be.
