Look, the Dems are upset because actual, legitimate e-mails were released that showed the deep rooted corruption of their party. They even colluded to take down one of their own, Bernie Sanders. It perplexes me that when the Democratic elite spun this story into the Russian collusion narrative, the democrats bit the bait, and they're really holding on. Assange, who has a perfect track record, has said Russia wasn't the source of any of the leaks (let's call them what they are, leaks, not "Russia hacking the election").

Below are some of the popular “Russian ties.”

Michael Flynn: Resigned for lying to the Mike Pence regarding conversations with Russia. Flynn was discussing sanctions with Russia, part of his job. The fact that he lied to Pence is why he was fired, and I’m not dismissing this, it’s a big deal that he lied, but there is no evidence of illegal activity or election meddling here. So, Flynn resigned for lying, not because of illegal ties to Russia. Also, Trump was the President Elect at the time Flynn talked to the Russian Ambassador, it is the United States National Security Advisor’s Job to discuss with foreign ambassadors.

Jeff Sessions: Said he did not communicate with Russia as a surrogate to the Trump campaign, which is true. He did communicate with the Russian ambassador to the US on other matters (also part of his job). He recused himself from the Trump investigation because there is obviously a conflict of interest there. So that was just the right thing to do.

Rex Tillerson: Friends with Putin as CEO of Exxon mobile. As the CEO of Exxon mobile, it makes sense to befriend foreign leaders. He was representing the shareholders of Exxon at the time. Has not resigned.

Paul Manafort: Lobbyist who lobbied on behalf of foreign leaders, including the former president of Ukraine. No legal charges have been brought against him, even though he’s under investigation by the NSA, FBI and CIA. There is no proven connection between Manafort and Russia regarding Trump or Trump’s election. His involvement with the Ukrainian president was as a hired consultant.

Most of the resignations have been because the individuals are under investigation. No legal charges have been brought against any of them, as far as I know? If you’d care to elaborate on any of the above to enhance my understanding of the illegal Russian connections you seem to know about?

Why aren’t people talking about the donation from Uranium One to the Clinton Foundation, after HRC was a key part of the approval of a deal to sell 1/5 of US uranium production to Russia? Seems like there’s actually some substance there…
