God damn Steven has contradicted himself so many times in his debate with Max and Chud. This is painful

The problem here is that people keep arguing that Destiny shouldn’t interact with Nick because a) he was irrelevant before and is using Destiny to get back into ‘mainstream’ YouTube and b) that there is this fear that Nick might convert some of Destiny’s audience. Neither are particular good arguments, and certainly not persuasive to Destiny. It’s also completely fine for Destiny to have cordial interactions with Nick, banter with him, and I don’t even think it’s that bad that Destiny had Nick over his apartment.

The biggest issue with Nick, in my opinion at least, is the friendliness, going out to dinner, shooting the shit like a couple buddies just hanging out.

Destiny admitted that Nick is functionally a Nazi. That means, necessarily, that Destiny agrees that if given the opportunity Nick would likely expel and possibly kill all Jewish people in the United States. I just wish Destiny would acknowledge how hurtful it can be for people in his audience who look up to and respect him to treat a literal Nazi so well. I don’t think he is quite empathizing with the Jewish and minority members of his community.

I just don’t get why he can’t understand why certain portions of his community especially would be hurt, saddened and angered at their favorite streamer dude suddenly hanging out super friendly with someone who literally would want to kill them and they entire family. If Destiny thinks this is hyperbolic, then he shouldn’t have admitted Nick is functionally a Nazi, or he’s diminishing the word just like all the people he criticizes.
