God is dead. Again. The Charles Murray and Sam Harris conversation

Why wouldn't you assume neutral adaption to work akin to coin flips?

I would expect that, sure, now that you have explained what this terminology means.

I'm more perlexed by the fact that you don't see why that would be important, as it's 100 % central to my point, so I'm starting to fear that this will not be fruitfull.

You know, I've written a short essay about this at this point, trying to get to your point, and your responses have mostly been a couple sentences and asking me more questions.

I agree it's not going to be fruitful if I'm doing all of my own explaining and instead of explaining yourself you just say "well I don't see how you could disagree with this important thing central to my point."

I mean, I explained at length why I disagreed, and specifically why the coin-flipping is only superficially similar to anything we are talking about.

Like, you may as well not respond. I hate when people start hedging about how they don't think something is getting somewhere. That is a conversation ender. I have been super forthcoming and clear about my points, and if you're perplexed about how I could disagree with something so central to your point (which, you know, is to be expected since we arrive at different conclusions), fine.
