Perhaps it’s because I view god as a more hands off being that I absolutely don’t believe that statement. Some people are given more than we can handle. I live for the good times and do my best to survive the bad. I don’t give a shit if it makes you stronger or blah blah blah life is pain nonsense, you get through it so you can enjoy the good times. Sometimes you have to search for the good too, because when the bad consumes your being, finding the good takes a lot of effort. It’s there though, the little silver linings to keep us going. Out there is a person who will love that you want to make everyone smile, like, how sweet is that. You may not have rights to your daughter but that’s doesn’t mean that you won’t see her again and you contributed to bringing a beautiful human being into the world. You’ve beaten cancer 3 times, I know you didn’t have a choice but wow, you beat it 3 times. I know it’s so easy for me to say because I have no understanding of what you are going through but only you can decide what you can handle; I hope you give yourself time to see what changes a year brings.

Bad shit happens and it can be more than we can handle but we owe it to ourselves to try. You didn’t ask for it and it didn’t happen for a reason, sometimes people just have shit luck/genes. You’ve been through so much but there must have been some good times too. Try to remember the good and how you’ve found your way out of the bad before, it can happen again.

Im sorry this is kinda long and rambling, I wish you the best and hope that you can find the silver linings you need to keep going until you find the good again, because I truly believe you will find good again.
