Goddammit, Target.

Haha, seriously? Man, you ignorant PC casuals, I tell you... You're just making stuff up now. "Crash Bandicoot graphics" is a ridiculous overstatement and not even close to accurate. Pretty sure Far Cry 4 on PS4 runs at 1080p30 at the equivalent of high PC settings. In fact I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference in screenshots. Far Cry 4 is actually a pretty poor example to use if you're trying to shame consoles. Crash Bandicoot graphics? Come on, man.
Not that I gave a shit what p or fps it was running at, because again, I just played and enjoyed it for what it was. And there's nothing wrong with 30FPS as long as it's consistent; there is no judder in any of the games I've played on PS4, and I've played a lot. I've actually found that you're more likely to run into inconsistent framerates on PC due to the lack of optimisation and infinite hardware permutations. In WoW for example, I remember being in one area and tweaked my settings for a fairly consistent 60FPS... then I went to the next area, where there was more fog or whatever, and my FPS tanked. You don't get that shit on consoles. Developers don't bother optimising for PC, they just let you brute-force it. I know Blizzard isn't a great example here, they do good work. But in general developers don't bother. I like having my software is custom-tailored to my exact hardware.
Also I'm not "pretending" not to be a graphics whore. I honestly don't care. I still play actual 16-bit, 32-bit (and earlier) games regularly on the original systems. They're fun, don't care what they look like. And in the rare cases that I emulate games, I don't apply any smoothing filters, and prefer to use scanlines on for authenticity. They can look nicer, but I don't want nicer, I want accurate.
Consoles are the main gaming platforms, they have been for almost the past 2 decades; of course developers are aiming for consoles. They don't care about the PC. They haven't in a long time. That's why games are usually released late on PC, if they're released at all. So instead of keeping up with the times and going to where the games are, consoles; PC users would rather focus on numbers and graphics, stubbornly stick with a single platform, refuse to play anything that isn't on said platform, and complain incessantly in every thread everywhere about the fact that nobody caters to them, even though it's entirely their own fault. Really productive.
