I’d be more worried about how he lives. Everyone has a different definition of “loud”. But if you thought it was loud a few years ago, I’d be worried about stuff like: does he smoke? cigs? Weed? That’ll kill your fan. Is he clean about ash trays and dusting in general?

Animals? Cats that sit on the tv shelf near the ps4? A lizard tank creating heat next to PS4?

Does he cook with a lot of grease? Near the PS4?

And mostly: has he been doing regular cleanings since he bought it?

But saying all that: The PS4 is supposed to be pretty good about shutting down safely if it detects it’s own overheating.

And it’s fairly easy to clean, with video tutorials everywhere.
