Going out of business?

MoviePass - financialy - makes zero sense to me. The ticket prices at my local theater are $11.75. So one movie a month and the value to me has been achieved.

I am kind of assuming that they are hoping that I will have some dry spells.... good luck with that. I mean, if I only need to see one movie a month the bar for me isn't that high.

My personal assumption is one of 4 things will occur.

1) Something will happen where theaters will loose confidence in taking the MoviePass credit cards.

2) They will raise there prices. (I think this is the most likely)

3) They will offer premium services of some sort. A higher monthly price for Imax as an example.

4) They will do something to curtail the number of movies you can see. Off the top of my head.... maybe not allowing us to see movies in the first 5 days of release.

I don't think the service is gonna last. But for the moment, if they want me to pay them $10 so that they will cover the cost of an $11.75 seat.. sure, why not?
