People are trying to be mad at Samsung for any reason, but the 21 is a good phone, at a good price, with great incetives to upgrade, whether it's with trade ins or pre order bonuses.

If you are set on waiting a year,at this point you should just keep your 21, and use it to get max trade in value for the next flagship you will want. Samsung has a history of great trade in deals and pre order incetives that will far outweigh the hassle of returning, and using a 2+byear old device as the next upgrade.
