Going solar in Phoenix

I'd suggest checking out the city building permit office of your city - some offices are reasonable, others not. They are just trying to obey the laws put upon them and enforce them, but you have to understand that big money in AZ controls everything. California is more solar friendly, so you might want to google a few random words to see what is done there. Then there are trade shows where you can get a little hands on. You might check the local community colleges for a night course on solar also.

You might check out a few websites, look for homeowner groups who use solar. Can't suggest anything else. Myself, I can work anywhere and forseeing the impending doom of Phoenix, overpopulation, water shortage -- it's a catastrophe waiting to happen, so I decided to move me and mine out of that state for the longer outlook-- it's just not the kind of environment I want my family to live in--maybe 30 years ago it was, but not now. Think long-term -- Phoenix right now at 3.5 million people is a death trap if something happens to the water supply-- plus there's no place to go in an emergency as there are just too many people there.

Good luck with your endeavors.
