I was going to switch to T-Mobile because of their cheaper plans but AT&T put me on the Next plan and told me my bill was going to be $125 + tax. I just got my bill and its $161...

Ok I haven't read what other people wrote so sorry if this has been said. I just want to share my experience with T-Mobile because it's soooooo bad!!!!! Don't don't don't don't get it! It's the worse! Ive never had so many dropped calls until I got T-Mobile. As I write this on my phone, I'm waiting for a text to get through. I sent it 5 minutes ago and it keeps failing. I have to keep tapping it to send again. Honestly it takes me sometimes about 10 minutes just to send a text to someone because it almost always fails. Its horrible especially when you need that text to send ASAP. So I'll just go with Facebook messenger or other texting app if the 4G is strong. Which it usually isn't!

And calls? Forget about it. I mentioned dropped calls. There is also the fact that you can't hear what the other person is saying. Here's how the conversation starts when I call someone,

Me "hello, hey so..."

Person "can't hear you what?"

Me "hey hey.... How about now... Hello?... How about now hey hello?"

Person "hellooooo?"

Call drops. Try again.

Its almost like that every time that I end up getting mad at the person on the other end when it's not their fault. Good thing they have WiFi calling so you can just use wifi when you talk to someone. But that's not why you're paying for a line right?!

It's the worse when you call any company and they put you on hold for like 30 minutes. When you finally get someone to talk to.... The call drops!!!! Omg it's frustrating!

Another sample conversation when calling a company.

Company "so and so services, how can we help you?"

Me "hi my name is higoodbye and I'm calling because I have to travel and would like to give my bank notice..."

Company "I'm sorry mam I didn't hear anything you said, can you repeat that.."

Me "yeah sure so..... Repeat what I said"

Company "hello? Are you there?"

Call then drops.

I don't even talk on the phone anymore now. If I have to, I already know it will be a stressful time. I'll either have to look for a place with wifi or hope for the best.

There's basically no service at my house or the city I live in. I actually went out of state and..... It was the same thing! No service!

One good thing I thought was great is that when you travel abroad, there's certain countries where it's free data and text. You have to pay for phone calls though unless you do wifi calling. So great! I checked if the countries I was traveling to were included in this free plan and they were! Then when I get home I saw a $15 charge for using it abroad. I did not use my phone to call at all. Just text and data. And yet, I got charged.

I don't know what you decided but please don't get it! I don't know how their company is still running. But as soon as my plan with them is over I'm switching.
