Blaming the Antifa is a Republican narrative and common people seem to have accepted this fact without questioning it, I've seen many comments even off hand comments in places political conversation doesn't belong claiming that Antifa actions are ruining the country, giving strength to Trumps calls of violence and police action. Putting pressure on what many see as an organization of far left extremists can only further his cause and give him more power, as you stated the more violence things are the more they they will turn to the right. Most of the violence we see is coming directly from the police whom have even been filmed unloading the piles of bricks that have mysteriously appeared around rioting cities, strange behavior like this would seem to suggest that the state and the police combined with third parties such as the white supremacist groups are working to create disorder and descent among the populous in order for the right to keep power. You would assume that there is no victory in this for Trump, he's already lost, but if he plays this right, he will have created a new fascist America by the end of the year.
