Going to a vape shop you've never been to before tends to be so awkward...

Yea, I suppose easy to guess when the entire state has fewer shops than my one town in FL does.

I was basically 2 miles from canada at noon on sunday, so half the shops were closed completely or closed too early to get to.

Had to go all the way to "Coastal Fog" in Brunswick. Shelf had one bottle of each flavor they offer, like seriously this lonely shelf with 20 bottles up there. Two people behind counter and a huge vape bro hanging out clouding the place up all staring at me in silence as I flip through a menu book. Most brands I don't even recognize (Disclaimer I own a chain of shops, so thats really bad) except one I remember being horrible, and ooh they got cosmic fog! Not my favorite since like 2012, but I can tolerate milk and honey in my given situation so I ask if they have any. Guy behind counter snaps "No" in that 'why the hell would we have that' tone, then goes and starts restocking their pathetic looking shelf. I don't think they even had testers out, and still more silence with no assistance, so I got pissed and walked out.

Next stop, Old Port vape shop in portland. Their menu still had some obscure shit, and nothing that is on my ADV list, but half of the brands I've atleast heard of so that was a good sign. One employee greeted me and said he'd be right with me as he helped an older lady giving her a run down of how to use her new kit. Helping non-vape bro's! Good sign #2. Comes over to help me, actually asks which brand/flavors I like to determine "ok so you're more of a dessert, creamy vape" and starts picking out testers for me. Third one, which I bought, was phillip rocke grand reserve which I have never tried because of their whole 'you can only buy it 2 days out of the year' crap. Saw taffy-man, grabbed one of those too just in case I found the grand reserve tasting terrible after an hour.
