God I was so so so so so excited for the Majora's Mask 3DS port. I heard they were making it and I fucking smiled. Literally only game announcement I've ever smiled at.

It was my absolute favorite game growing up. I didn't have many to begin with but OoT and MM were my pillars. Played them over and over. I actually "speed ran" them as a kid (not that my times were any good because ya know, kid) with some close friends.

I wish they'd just made MM the same but with better graphics and frame rate and all that.

Or, do something like Master Quest on OoT 3DS. You can play their "reimagining" version or the original just more beautiful.

I still love MM, but I disliked most of the changes.

I hated the eyes on bosses, hated Zora link changes (plus it made the damn beaver game for the bottle such an annoyance to me), and didn't like the fact they completely changed Twinmold.

I understand they wanted to "do their vision" and stuff but it's one of a very very games I was literally giddy about and then got to play it and was...I won't say "unhappy" but just a bit disappointed maybe?

I had no idea they were making those changes because I didn't want to follow news about MM and go in blind since it'd been a good decade since I got to play it.

That first time as Zora link and realizing what they have changed was just...ugh.
