It's actually multiple graves of Indigenous children, in many different sites across the country (former residential schools, set up to destroy Indigenous culture and effectively the people themselves). It's actually quite horrific, and the reasonable settlers among us are rather ashamed. You can read about it here.

Though, for accuracy in information, it's not a mass grave. Multiple individual graves, found near the schools. The main issue is that the deaths were unreported by the churches involved, so families didn't know what happened to their kids.

Oh, and also the church-run schools were killing children, that's a problem too.
