What the fuck do you think you have to power to do against the god damn entire government? I can see how this is a nice fantasy you like to have, but in an real situation the govt could drop enough stacks of dollar bills to crush you and your home. And in the case where some joke ragtag militia forms, you have to recognize we are one of the most militarily advanced nations on the face of the entire fucking earth, no civilian force could stand up to the endless supplies of weapons and troops that the government possesses. And all this requires some dystopian future where the government turns against its own people that is all just a fantasy, and although it has happened in other countries, never in such a developed world leader such as the United States. Gun laws are more harm than help and were designed in age where the most common firearm was a single loafing musket. And gun reform isn’t a ban on all guns like the strawman pro 2nd peoplenlike to use, it’s getting rid of high capacity, fast firing rifles, not guns for hunting, not guns for self defense. A compromise can be reached but only when both sides take the time to see the other point of view and come to a compromise that can protect this country’s schools.
